Saving Form Data and working with Saved Forms

Users of Contract Eagle forms can save an unfinished form and return to it later to complete and submit

Audience: end-users at Contract Eagle Ultimate (or legacy plan “Enterprise”) customers

Users can save an unfinished Form

End-users who have started filling in a form can save their form entry for completion

later on. Incomplete forms are retained for 7 days.

At the bottom of any form screen, users will see options to Save and exit, Start new

and Discard.

On selecting Save and exit, Contract Eagle will email the user a link to return to their

incomplete form. Users will go back to their Contract Eagle Dashboard.

If a form session is interrupted eg by closing the browser/tab or the session timing out, a copy of the form data will be saved automatically. Contract Eagle will email the user a link to return to their incomplete form.

Users can return to their incomplete forms

If a user has incomplete forms, they can return to those forms by:

  1. Following the link in the email sent to their address; or

  2. Clicking Contracts > Add > and selecting the same form. This screen will display their previous form entry and give them the option to Resume, Start new,

    Discard or Exit.

Please confirm if you'd like to resume this form: Resume, Start new, Discard or Exit

If a user has begun multiple entries on the same form, all unfinished forms will be kept

for 7 days until they are Submitted or Discarded.
