When we use Custom Forms together with DocuSign we can automatically generate documents and automatically configure the DocuSign envelope, ready for signing.

This approach gives you full control over where signatures, dates, and other fields appear, while significantly reducing manual preparation work. It helps you speed up agreement processing, improve consistency, and enhance automation across signing workflows.

Custom Forms can be used for a variety of business scenarios, including agreement generation, approval sign-offs, questionnaires, onboarding forms, and consent forms.

Key benefits of using Custom Forms with DocuSign

Automatically place signing fields

When documents are generated from a Custom Form, Contract Eagle can automatically create the DocuSign envelope with:

  • Predefined recipients

  • Signature blocks

  • Other custom inputs

This removes the need to manually configure signing locations inside DocuSign for every document.

Generate a contract from template

By combining document generation and DocuSign preparation into a single process, users can:
