Audience: Standard Users and Power Users

If your users have Tasks or other actions to complete, Contract Eagle will send them a dashboard email each day. When they've completed all their Tasks or actions, the daily emails stop until such time as they receive a new Task.

Sample email:

If you're in a team, you can change your Daily Dashboard Email so it includes a list of your team's Tasks and contracts, in addition to your own. If you're a Power User, you can change this email and make it the default for all users in your team.

1. To get started, go to your Dashboard in Contract Eagle. Then either click Actions in the top right, or right-click anywhere on the page, and select Page Settings.

This article will deal with customization under the heading Daily Email Summary - but while you're in this screen you can also use the other headings to customize what's displayed on the Contract Eagle Dashboard in your browser.

2. Click Daily Email Summary to view the settings that can be changed.

Change the Days the Email is Sent

At the top you can change the number of days the email is sent. If you only work part-time, do you want the email sent on your non-working days? Green days are the days the email will be sent - click to toggle them on and off.

Change settings around your own Tasks

The next four settings apply to your own Alerts, Tasks, Contracts, etc. Each of these four settings has three options you can choose from:

  • you can turn it off, so it doesn't appear in the daily email;

  • you can have it always on, so even if there are 0 Tasks for you, or your bar chart is empty, it will be included in the email; or

  • you can choose to include it only when there is data.

Change settings around your team's Tasks

The next four settings apply to your team's Alerts, Tasks, Contracts, and have the same three options under each.

Once you've made your selections, click Actions or right-click and choose

  • Save - to change your own dashboard email.

  • Restore Defaults - if you think you've messed up your email or dashboard settings, you can clear them back to defaults and start again.

Power Users will also see Save as a global preference - to publish this as the new default for users in your Business Unit. Users can still do their own customization beyond this, if they wish.

Remember Power Users, we've just covered the contents of the daily summary email, but you can make changes to any section of the actual dashboard in here, and save it as a global preference for your other users, if you think that suits their way of working better.
