🪄 What’s New?
Multiple Contract Business Units
Contracts can now be accessible to more than one Business Unit.
Each contract must still have a Primary Business Unit, but you can now add one or more Additional Business Units for shared access.
You can also grant View-Only Business Unit Access, allowing visibility without edit rights.
Business Unit filters in the Contract Search screen now apply across all associated units (Primary, Additional, or View-Only).
This means contracts can be shared across teams without granting broad access to all contracts in a single unit.
Multiple Electronic Signing Account
Contract Eagle now supports multiple electronic signing accounts for both DocuSign and Secured Signing.
Configure and manage accounts in the new Settings > Electronic Signing menu.
Restrict accounts by Business Unit or Contract Type to ensure the right accounts are used in the right context.
Specify a default signing account for documents sent directly from Custom Forms.
For DocuSign accounts, you can now customise the email subject and body at the account level, replacing global defaults.
This gives you more control and flexibility when managing signing across different business areas.
💡 Something Else?
This release also includes several improvements based on user feedback, such as:
Contact Details in Contract View/Edit Screen – You can now quickly view contact information for Counterparty Contacts assigned to roles on a contract and Counterparty details. New info buttons appear next to each contact and counterparty labels, opening a pop-up with their details.
“User Created” Field in Dashboard and Contract Search – The screens now include a new field, User Created, showing the name of the user who created each contract.
You can also filter contracts by creator using the Additional Filter fields on the Contract Search screen (Note: This value may not be populated for some historical contracts).
